Locums Anesthesiologists Needed in North Carolina!

Specialty: Anes MD
Start Date: ASAP
Work Details:
Duration: 6 months, possibly longer, until able to backfill MD positions with W2 employees.
Does physician need Board Certification: BE or BC
Average Number of CV cases per day: 10-15
Average Number of general cases per month: 3500-4000
Case Mix: Busy OB, trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho
Must be able to do peripheral nerve blocks
General Anesthesia Shifts: 8s, 10s, 12s. No call is needed.
Describe the make-up of support staff: 1 MD:3 CRNA or 1 MD:4 CRNA
· Support Staff: Anesthesia techs
· Department Description: Care Team Model: Yes, mainly supervisory but MDs can work their own cases if preferred.
· EMR: Cerner and AIMS
· Special Procedures: General, Ortho, Endo, Urology, GYN, Robotics, Neuro/Spine. Very little Peds but must be able to work on 2yo +
* No craniotomies or transplants. There is a dedicated team to trauma and cardiac. There may be potential for vascular.

• Hospital
Travel Logistics:
· Specific travel client will pay for: Travel and lodging. No stipend. Must submit receipts for reimbursement.

Requirements:
· License Required: Active NC license required to start credentialing
