The facilities feature a supportive clinical environment with onsite X-ray and EKG capabilities, and a collaborative team including medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians.

Physician - Emergency Medicine - Urgent Care

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services across multiple locations throughout the St. Louis metro area
  • 36-48 patient encounters per shift
  • Must be residency trained and board certified (or board eligible if within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds through ABMS or American Osteopathic Board — no other boards accepted
  • Must be trained and comfortable seeing both adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months and older)
  • Must provide proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months correlating to privileges requested
  • Current BLS certification required — must be obtained directly through the American Heart Association
  • Must be comfortable performing minor procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, and casting
  • Must be comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays; onsite X-ray and EKG available
  • Must be very comfortable working with EMR systems; Epic experience is a plus
  • Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians as support staff (no RN/LPN support staff)
  • Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts; preference given to providers who can work blocks of shifts including both weekdays and weekends
  • Centers are open Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-8:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; transitioning to 12-hour shifts on weekends
  • No overtime available
  • Must hold an active Missouri license or IMLC
  • Interview with the medical director is required prior to confirmation
  • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 120 days
  • Nearest airport: Lambert St. Louis International

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
