Join a hospital seeking ongoing weekend-only Gastroenterology call coverage. This flexible locums opportunity offers consistent weekend scheduling with a manageable onsite requirement and the opportunity to perform advanced GI procedures.

Assignment Highlights
Start Date: ASAP
Coverage: Ongoing
Schedule: Weekends Only
Call Coverage: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
24-hour call each day over the weekend
Minimum 6 hours onsite daily, typically beginning around 7:00 AM
Additional call panel support anticipated as the hospital expands coverage
Practice Details
Hospital-based practice
Weekend GI call coverage
Manage general gastroenterology emergencies
Advanced procedures may include:
Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
General Gastroenterologists are encouraged to apply, including those who do not perform ERCP, as the hospital is actively building its call panel
Collaborative practice environment
Requirements
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Experience managing inpatient GI emergencies
ERCP and EUS experience preferred
General Gastroenterologists without ERCP experience will also be considered
Credentialing
