Start: Mid-August (Flexible)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Location: St. Louis, MO
License: Willing to License

Schedule

* Ongoing inpatient coverage
* Day & night shifts available
Day Shift:** 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may transition to 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM in the fall)

Night Shift:** 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM
* Monthly schedule provided by the facility

Practice Details

* Academic hospital
* Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Hematology & Cellular Therapy
* Adult patient population
* Average daily census: 8–12 patients
* Epic EMR
* Support from attending physicians

Responsibilities

* Bone marrow biopsies
* Stem cell infusions and transfusions
* Admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning
* Patient and family education
* Management of transplant and cellular therapy complications, including:
* Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)
* Cytokine release syndrome (CRS)
* Immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS)

Requirements

* Board Certified NP or PA
* Active Missouri license (or willing to obtain)
* BLS required
* ACLS preferred
* Minimum 1.5–2 years of inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant APP experience
* DEA not required
* CSR not required

* Timeframe varies
* Temporary privileges may be available
