Gynecology/Oncology PA (non-surgical) Needed in Fountain Valley, CA

Start: Aug/Sept

20 week assignment

Mon-Fri 8a-5p
• Not a surgical role
• Pre-op, perform and record history and physical examinations
• Provide patient care expertise in the postoperative acute care units
• See patients for follow up visits in the office
• Full-time , Monday through Friday
• EMR: Epic

Qualifications
• At least two years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner managing cardiac surgery patients pre- and post-operatively is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• May work across care settings to follow patients
• Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of California.
• Current certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
• Current furnishing license to furnish medications in the State of California
• Current DEA
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
