Gynecology/Oncology Physician Assistant Needed in Fountain Valley, CA:
Employment: W2 Locums (All-Inclusive Rate)
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Contract Length: Approximately 20 weeks (through January 2027, with possible extension)

Schedule
Full-time
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
5 x 8-hour shifts
No call
No weekends
Practice Details
Outpatient clinic with inpatient and surgical responsibilities
EMR: Epic
Supports a single Gynecologic Oncologist
Cases performed at:
Fountain Valley, CA
Laguna Hills, CA
Responsibilities
This is a well-rounded Gynecologic Oncology position that includes:
Surgical First Assist
Inpatient rounding
Outpatient clinic
Pre- and postoperative patient management
Collaborative care with the Gynecologic Oncologist
Independent management of assigned patients

The practice consists of a very small team with one physician, so candidates should be comfortable working independently and managing a variety of responsibilities.

Candidate Requirements
Physician Assistant
Prior Gynecologic Oncology experience preferred
Surgical First Assist experience in Gynecologic Oncology strongly preferred
Candidates with Gynecologic Oncology clinic experience only may also be considered
Minimum 2–3 years of APP experience preferred
No new graduates
Ability to work independently in a small practice setting
California license required (licensing assistance not available)
Additional Information
Full-time coverage needed from August 2026 through January 2027
Opportunity for extension

Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
