Job description

We are seeking a Neurologist with EEG expertise for a fully remote locum tenens opportunity providing EEG interpretation services across multiple states.

Assignment Details:
Specialty: Neurology – EEG / Clinical Neurophysiology
Start Date: June 12, 2026
Coverage Need: Immediate and ongoing
Schedule:24-hour shifts
Location: 100% Remote

Clinical Responsibilities:
Routine EEG interpretation
Continuous EEG (cEEG) interpretation
Ambulatory EEG interpretation
ICU EEG studies as applicable
Identification and characterization of: Seizures, Epileptiform activity, Encephalopathy patterns, Other abnormal EEG findings
Provide wet reads and communicate urgent findings to care teams
Complete preliminary and final reports in a timely manner
Collaborate with EEG technologists and referring providers

Patient Population:
peds through adult patients

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist (ABPN)
Child Neurology certification with the ability to interpret neonatal through adult EEGs
Fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology and/or Epilepsy
Board Certification in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
Eligible for credentialing and privileging

Licensure Requirements:
Active IMLC preferred OR
Ability to obtain licensure in: Oklahoma, Indiana, Missouri, Washington, Florida

Technology Requirements:
Secure remote EEG viewing and reporting platforms
HIPAA-compliant remote workspace
Reliable high-speed internet connection

Additional Information:
Workload varies by shift volume
Responsible for both routine and continuous EEG interpretation
Fully remote opportunity with no onsite responsibilities
